Bad evolution!

The evolution of my country and specific of the Chilean people are was very poor and bad in terms of social behavior.

I was born in the decade of the 80 (specific in 1988 so I´m not that old XD) and despite of my young age I remember a lot of things and my mother and father always remembered past times, so I always heard to other people talking about the past.

In my opinion, people in the past was much more respectful than at present, because the education of children was in charge of one of the parents who usually was the mother (because the Chilean society is sexist), so the children respected their elders, they obeyed and never questioned the word of their parents because this word was a law. For this reason the society of 80 was much more passive than today, perhaps it also allowed the military regime in Chile was so long, because only a few people dared to question the orders of any person having power, maybe this was because in the past, the punishment in front the questions or disobedience was with violence (isn’t exist the knowledge of human rights).

Also in the 80s the information of sex, religion and politics was handled by a few, because they were taboo topics, but now the information of any topic is free and easy access so the people are much more active in every way. This freedom also has consequences that are the loss of respect for authority, lack of control by parents (today both work), and loss of innocence of children, youth and adolescents, because the technology often open windows that show subjects to be treated with care in the family.

Finally if I have to choose a decade of live, certain I choose a decade ago, because before people were much more friendly, innocent, expressive, talkative and especially because before you could hear and dance GOOD MUSIC XD.

Challenges of medical veterinary

in my career i have many challenges, because is a carrer of a lot study, and you need a lot dedication with there.

but not all the challenges for my having relation with the study, because for me, the principal challenge is in the first place keep my grant. this grant pay all my carrer, so without its i cant continue with my studies because tarifft is most expensive that i could be pay, but for state keep it, i need pass the 70% of my subjects, and this is very hard :/.

all my subjects are difficult, but i have one in special that for me is almost impossible. there is math!, yes!!! i dont born for there, i dont understand, and i give my best effort, but isnt enough :(, but i think that i make pass, i could pass any subjecs, because i am really scary with there.

other challenge is anatomy for me, because my memory isnt so good, and i confuse names or in the worse case i invent new names XD, so this is very dificult.

meaby you think that my challenges arent very important, but for my, there are huge!, so i try to makes not relevance, because i cant be supersede for the idea that maybe i cant pass, so i continue fight for pass all my subjects.

My Chile education!

For beginning i suppose to explain why the term of education is important for discuss, well for answers this question I need to say that my country is the fifth most expensive country in the world in terms of education, for this in Chile the education is a multimillion-dollar business!.

I´m not proud for this, because for the most people are impossible study in the university or in a good school because tariffs are unaffordable, so for this problem there is a only solution that is reduce the tariffs to half, because think in a education free of pay is a utopia specially in the current government, where the most important is the business before the people.

The principal problem of all this is the debt of students and their families, because credits have highs rates and the time of pay is very long (rate of 15-20 years) so this fact impossibility for the student to get any credit because scholar debt appears in the financial history of banks so this not allow to move to the next dream that anyone who does not have the money to achieved, such as buy a house, a car or travel.

Finally have others problems, because the different in tariffs between state universities and private universities are minimal, so have a great deal academically, so there is an overproduction of professionals which makes more difficult to find a stable and well-paid work. This fact produce that not all professionals get a good job, which makes payments of debts to swell even more time and return to debt.

In conclusion I think that in Chile free education is and will remain a utopia, because in this problem, the government and rich persons continue richest, establishing an economic and educational gap growing bigger in the time.

"Damaged hearts could one day repair themselves, mouse study suggests"

http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2011/feb/24/damaged-hearts-repair-themselves-mouse

“Newborn mice can regenerate 15% of their heart tissue, raising the prospect of treatments to regenerate human hearts”

In a recent investigation, it was discovered that the hearts of newborn mice can regenerate after an injury.

This discovery is really important, not only for animal medicine, also for human medicine, because the scientists knew that fish and amphibians could regenerate their hearts, but had no evidence of this in mammals.

In a recent study in US, showed that mice of one day old, could regenerate 15% heart tissue in three weeks, ability that was lost a week of age.

This increased hopes that the human heart also has the ability to regenerate and provide an opportunity to search drugs, genes or other factor that could awaken this potential in the heart of adult mice and eventually in humans.

Scientist say that the main problem of heart failure is the scar tissue, because this weakens the heart pumping ability, so advance in this field of medicine mean that more people survive heart attack than ever before.

In my opinion, for me this is a huge advance in medicine because it gives the opportunity to extend the life of people, but not only extend, but provides a good quality of life in patients who would benefit, so that this way they can live normally, without any limitation.

Improved my faculty!!!

I study in the University of Chile; this is a state university, which is why its infrastructure lives much to be desired.

In my country the state universities are less glamorous as infrastructure is concerned, since main examination was carried by quality of its professionals, because they are the best.

In countries like Argentina or Mexico, where higher education is FREE, the state universities are very similar to mine (in terms of infrastructure) but the quality of teaching at my university is the best.

I think that our infrastructure must be improved, because we pay high tariffs, which although much lower than those of private universities, I think that the funds are mismanaged and poorly distributed.

Then if I administer, would make major changes, such as would improve the infrastructure of the library and buy more numbers of copies of books because lack in numbers and would also create true study halls, with whiteboards, tables and chairs appropriated, in addition to establishing a truly quiet place where you can study.

Also needed better classrooms and laboratories, because are very small and have a poor acoustics (maybe the solution of to this would reduce the numbers of students per room, but that if it’s impossible).

Other need is the construction of a real gym, because have only courts of game, but there aren’t spaces enabled machines or a gym and aren’t adequate locker rooms (are old and small).

I would also like to hire more teachers and cleaning staff and in field of food, improved dining infrastructure which is unhygienic and maybe change the concession from the casino because lunch menus aren’t very creative and quite expensive for students who haven’t food scholarship.

So maybe my faculty lack of materials resources, but in terms of education continues to maintain one of the highest levels around the country and also worldwide.

My dream place

Since one is a child always dream of winning some prize millionaire to be able to make real all yours dreams, if this were to happen I would do many things!, one of them (if i had money and time XD), is travel to my dream place that is Greece!!!. This country I found out watching movies, and be amazed by the beauty of its landscapes and its people.

Greece is one of the most fascinating countries in Europe, full of myth, history and life. In every corner there are traces of the past. Greece is a crossroads of cultures and civilizations where history, mythology, philosophy and experience are blended into a mixture of beautiful contradictions. In Greece, the mythology becomes reality and reality becomes myth.

For this reasons is my favorite place, because it has many wonderful sceneries, and its culture is totally different from those that know. Its culture caught my attention, especially by their traditions, their way of celebration of great events, such as marriages, baptisms, are be very interesting for me.

Some scenery that has Greece in touristic term is the peninsula of Pelion famous for its natural beauty and for its unique style of architecture that remain in the time. Other place that i would to know is the city of Kalamata. Its the second city bigger in the Peloponnese, located in south of Greece. This city is a port with beaches of white sand and crystalline waters.

as you can see its cultural and natural richness make Greece the ideal place to make real all my dreams, either in terms of work and who knows if also in terms of love

Transantiago or transantiasco?

Today i relieve with respect to the transport system of my country, which was incorporated only in the central zone of Chile or most specific in Santiago, this system have a name, that is Transantiago.

This system became operational in February 2006 like solution of many problems as pollution and traffic congestion, but this "solution" was a chaos. There was a lot lack of information from the state about the new payment method because there was a change from coins to a card called BIP or for a some users called RIP XD.

After this, there was another problem, the frequency of buses, because buses machines, at first were few in number that began to move, then many people were at bus stops with no possibility of getting on some bus. it also happened that the bus routes were not well defined and were unknown to most people, wich is enabled by a system of telephone information and virtual that aren`t take to a long time in congest respect to the high demand of people.

Moreover, the new payment system speed this task, but many people forgot money load the card, so the people got in the bus without payment, causing great economic losses for the state. Now this problem was solution with people audit that reviews the card into a machine and if this shows that the person isn`t liable to pay, is fine in Chilean pesos.

Finally, in my opinion, transantiago was not and never will be the solution to the problem of mobilization for the people of Santiago, because the traffic congestion continues at same case that acoustic and environmental pollution, while the driving of drivers did not improve at all.
